The end of the book, camping and more....

Well here we are at the end of the semester.  I'm sad; how about you?

Before we leave, we still have some work to do.  Click here to practice Units 9 & 10.

It's too cold to go camping now, but when it's nicer a great place to go is Samuel P. Taylor State Park
which is very beautiful and very close to San Francisco.  Click here for more information.  You can also go there for a picnic.

And finally, it's time to wish everyone A Very Happy New Year!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving in the United States.  But it is a holiday for everyone to say THANK YOU!

Thanks for my health,
Thanks for my family,
Thanks for my home,
Thanks for the food on my table,
Thanks for the table,
Thanks for my friends,
Thanks for all the good things in my life.
And I want to say to all my wonderful students.  I am very thankful for all of you.

One thing many people do on Thanksgiving is watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV.  It is on TV on Thanksgiving Day at 9:00 a.m. on CBS TV.  Here is some of the parade from last year.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Late November

Hi Everyone!

This week's words are a mishmash.  What's a mishmash? It's very different things mixed together. Like if you had Chinese food, Vietnamese food and Mexican food all at the same time!

Containers!

What's the difference between     and   ?

Do you know which one is count and which one is non-count?

Non-count nouns often go into a container.

What's the milk in?  A box, a bottle, a jar, a carton, a tube?  Click  here to learn all about containers.
